Nashville, “Nobody Knows But Me,” Wednesday, April 15, 10/9c, ABC

In a town and show like Nashville, everyone’s got a past worth singing about. Even slimy record exec Jeff Fordham (Oliver Hudson), whose romantic history includes a liaison with a pop star deliciously named Jade St. John—played by moonlighting Voice coach Christina Aguilera—who comes to Music City on tour, forcing Jeff to work alongside his former fiancée. Will sparks fly? We sure hope so.

In unrelated subplots on this enjoyably busy musical soap, Maddie (Lennon Stella) struggles with biological father Deacon’s (Charles Esten) cancer diagnosis, while new parents Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) and Avery (Jonathan Jackson) discover that rocking the cradle and rocking Nashville’s music scene aren’t always compatible. To which we say: Country diva, grow up and stop acting like a baby!
