6 Burning Questions We Need Answered in ‘Nobody Wants This’ Season 4
After that whirlwind of a finale, Nobody Wants This Season 3 left us with far more questions than answers about Noah (Adam Brody), Joanne (Kristen Bell), and the rest of their family. (Warning: Spoilers ahead!)
During Season 3 of Nobody Wants This, Noah and Joanne took big steps in their relationship, moving in together, getting engaged, and eventually quietly getting married on the beach with only a stranger to bear witness. At the same time, Noah’s brother, Sasha (Timothy Simons), went back to square one after separating from his wife, Esther (Jackie Tohn), and moving in with his best friend, Joanne’s sister, Morgan (Justine Lupe). Much to the thrill of Day 1 Sasha and Morgan shippers, the duo finally took the next step in their relationship, admitting their feelings and sleeping together in NYC. However, things took a turn when they got back home.
After sleeping with Sasha, Morgan abandoned him and took an earlier flight home. While she eventually realized that she needed to tell Sasha that she wanted to be with him, Sasha made the decision that they were better off as friends. Soon after, he fell back into bed with Esther, who had been dating divorcee Julian (Steven Weber). To make matters worse, after Morgan’s mom, Lynn (Stephanie Faracy), spilled that Morgan and Sasha had hooked up, Esther gracefully told Morgan, “I f**ked him yesterday.”
With Noah and Joanne’s secret wedding and Sasha’s dramatic love triangle, we’ve got quite a few questions that we NEED answered in a potential Season 4. Read our burning questions below!
Who was Morgan’s first husband?
This one’s a biggie. While we learned more about Morgan’s ex-husband than ever during Season 3, we still don’t know who he was, how they met, and what brought them over the edge to get divorced. During Season 4, we not only want to find out more about Morgan’s first husband, we want to meet him. If Joanne’s ex can find his way back into her life, Morgan’s ex-husband can surely reenter the picture, too.
Will Noah and Joanne tell anyone they got married?
After all the drama between Sasha, Morgan, and Esther before Joanne’s Mikveh, it’s clear to see why Noah and Joanne didn’t call everyone down to the beach to watch them tie the knot. Everyone’s been trying to get a hand in their wedding planning, and they needed the moment to be about them. Still, we can’t help but wonder whether Noah and Joanne walked back up to the beach house and announced that they were husband and wife, or let everyone think they were still just engaged.

Will Bina still throw her son a big wedding?
Regardless of whether Noah and Joanne tell everyone about their private wedding or not, we have to say, we grew a little attached to the idea of Bina (Tovah Feldshuh) throwing her son that massive backyard wedding. Plus, do they really want to meet Bina’s wrath if they decide not to have a massive celebration?
Are Esther and Julian still together?
After Sasha and Esther hooked up, she explained, “I don’t know that I’m ready to stop seeing Julian.” Still, they seemed to leave the door open for more hookups in the future by lingering on “we’ll see what happens” as their course of action moving forward. Since Esther and Julian just became each other’s girlfriend and boyfriend, with him committing to not being with anyone else, we’re assuming he won’t take too well to the Esther and Sasha news. That is, if Esther even tells him.

Will Sasha and Esther get back together?
Sasha’s top priority for most of Season 3 was finding a way to get back together with Esther. Now that he and Esther have found their way back to each other, is he willing to give up what he might have with Morgan to reunite his family?
Will Sasha and Morgan give their relationship a shot?
Similarly, Sasha and Morgan could finally give in to their affection for each other, especially now that the vegetable game got Sasha to reconsider their connection. As he put it, multiple times, it’s a “powerful game.” If Esther hadn’t found out about Sasha and Morgan’s hookup, and therefore didn’t announce that she and Sasha had hooked up as well, could Sasha and Morgan have gone home together from the Mikveh?
While we’ll know what could have happened, we’re eager to find out what will happen next.
