‘Special Forces’: All About David Charvet’s Pamela Anderson Romance & More
David Charvet was a heartthrob in the 1990s. He not only starred on Baywatch, but he was on the show with his IRL girlfriend Pamela Anderson. But since leaving Melrose Place in 1998, Charvet has focused on living a more private life, with fatherhood as his focus.
Now, Charvet is stepping back into the spotlight as a contestant on the fifth season of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. He’s one of the recruits hoping to complete the difficult course, while also reflecting on what got him to this point.
In a preview for the October 22 episode, Charvet reflects about his time on Baywatch, including how he was the one who got Anderson to audition for the show. “They needed another girl on the show and I told them, ‘You guys should meet Pamela,’” he told Matt Barnes. “And they met Pamela, and they hired her.”

Does David Charvet have a girlfriend?
Charvet is not known to currently be in a relationship. His most recent public romance was with actress Katie Boskovich, whom he started dating in 2020. The former couple split in 2023, and Charvet was investigated for making alleged criminal threats against Boskovich, per TMZ.
The outlet reported that Boskovich filed a police report against Charvet after they got into a blowout fight, during which he allegedly told her, “This won’t end well for [you].”
The argument between Charvet and Boskovich allegedly stemmed from differences about their “lifestyles.”
What happened between David Charvet and Pamela Anderson?
Charvet and Anderson dated on-and-off from 1992 to 1994. In her memoir, Anderson backed up Charvet’s account of the Baywatch audition process, noting that she “accompanied him” to his audition for the show.
“David was drop-dead handsome — they were lucky to have him there, and he really wanted to be an actor,” she wrote. “The casting director ate him up, then looked past him to me and asked if I was actually the Pamela Anderson. The one who never showed up. I timidly said yes, I was. The producers came out and offered me a job right then and there.”
They both got cast in the show, although Anderson admitted, “I don’t think he was too happy they hired me as well. David knew this would be the end of us, somehow. I tried to tell him it wouldn’t change things, but he was right. We didn’t last long.”
Charvet and Anderson reportedly broke up due to the strain of living and working together.
Why did David Charvet and Brooke Burke split?
Charvet started dating Brooke Burke in 2006 and they tied the knot in 2011. The exes separated in January 2018 and filed for divorce in April 2019 before the divorce was finalized in March 2020.

Burke opened up about the split in a blog post, telling fans, “There was nothing sensational that caused this divorce and nothing scandalous will surface, please believe that we are just finding new ways to remain a loving family. Big life decisions are hardest when made for the right reasons. It is sometimes painful to be strong and embrace change. I believe in letting go of ideas and dreams when the time is right. I am in that space right now as a woman and a mother, listening to my heart.”
When the divorce was finalized, the former couple agreed to joint physical and legal custody of their children. They split their properties and art collection. They also agreed to splits of their joint business ventures and companies.
How many children does David Charvet have?
Charvet has two children, both of whom he shares with Burke. Their son, Heaven, was born in 2007, followed by daughter Shaya in 2008.
