After diving into their ongoing conversation about whether or not to have kids together, 90 Day Fiancé stars Marissa Rubinetti and Edward Gomez have revealed a new update about where they stand on expanding their family today.
During their September 24 appearance on I Do, Part 2, just days before Part 3 of the 90 Day Fiancé Season 12 Tell All, Marissa and Edward took listeners inside their pregnancy and surrogacy discussion. As viewers know, Edward has always wanted to have his own kids, while Marissa is content with the two she already has and has reached an age where she may not be able to have any more.
According to Marissa, Edward’s point of view on the topic has shifted since the beginning of their relationship. “We agreed before we got married and even very, very early on in the relationship that I’m not having any kids,” she explained. “And he accepted that. He said, ‘I love you. I’d rather be with you than have kids.'”
Now, with pressure from his family and his own desire coming to the forefront, fans have seen a shift in Edward’s perspective. “And I think that my suspicions about him changing his mind came true a little bit,” Marissa confessed. “I knew that he eventually was going to feel a little bit of regret by choosing a woman that wasn’t able to provide children with him.”

At the Tell All, Marissa and Edward revealed that they have looked into surrogacy options. However, the price is currently too high for the couple to consider expanding their family in that way. According to Marissa, many fans have reached out about that conversation. “So many people are reaching out to me offering to be a surrogate for our relationship,” she revealed.
That said, Marissa confirmed that she still isn’t ready to take the leap. “I think, in our life right now, I mean, I just bought my two businesses. He’s still getting grounded in his financial situation. It’s just not the right time for us,” she admitted. “I mean, I know the time is of the essence. I am about to be 47 years old. He’s still in his prime. And I know that this is a conversation that we’ll keep revisiting. But right now, it’s just not in the cards for us at this very moment.”
