Who is Marissa Rubinetti?

Marissa is one of the Season 12 stars of 90 Day Fiancé. This season, at 45, she is engaged to Edward, a 32-year-old from San Francisco de Macorís in the Dominican Republic. She lives in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, but splits her time between her suburban life there and her job in New York City. TLC noted, “Marissa balances a high-powered New York career and raising her two sons in Pennsylvania, all while maintaining the expectations of her upper-crust, socialite family.”

When she sat down with Swooon, she explained, ” [Fans] think that I am completely bossy and controlling, and I don’t give Edward his way, and I just want to rule his life, which is not true… I want him to thrive in this country, I want him to become the best version of himself, and I want him to be successful. And me guiding him along the way isn’t necessarily trying to control his life, but it’s more of like him developing into the best version of himself.”

Marissa and Edward on Season 12 of TLC's '90 Day Fiance,' premieres May 10, 2026.
