Similar to John-Paul and Mica, his relationship with Suzie began as an affair. In 2023, Mica told a friend that she had known “for a while” that her husband was having an affair with Suzie. Mica confronted John-Paul about the affair, and he agreed to work on their marriage. However, according to Mica’s family, when Mica’s brother saw John-Paul and Suzie out together, Mica wanted to file for divorce.

When Suzie first met John-Paul, she was married to Chris Skinner. Chris had been paralyzed from the shoulders down after an accident. Suzie had been Chris’ physical therapist.

John-Paul and Alison divorced in 2015.
