During Season 12 of 90 Day Fiancé, fans have gotten a closer look at Thomas and Paula, a duo who started dating years into their friendship. While they are very much in love, the two were quick to learn that their lifestyles were not as compatible as they once thought. One major difference has specifically gotten in their way. While Paula loves perfume and other scented products, Thomas is allergic to fragrances. Once her family got to town, Thomas’ house rules, which are rigid in some places and incredibly lax in others, became even more present.

Where is Paula’s family from?
Paula’s family is from São Paola, Brazil, which is roughly 14 hours away from California by plane. While most international cast members aren’t able to get visas for their families to attend their weddings in the States, seven members of Paula’s family have arrived for her wedding so far: Her parents, brother, sister-in-law, nieces, and sister.

Who are Paula’s parents?
Looking forward to reuniting with her parents, Paula revealed, “They never left Brazil for nothing, so it’s a big deal.” According to Paula, she used to spend every weekend with her parents before she moved to the States. Thomas shared that Paula has never lived more than an hour away from her parents.
When asked where Paula thought her parents would stay, she caught him off guard by telling him, “In our apartment… Actually, I’m thinking about inviting them all to our house because we have space.” As Thomas reminded her, their apartment is only 800 square feet.
Does Paula have siblings?
Paula has a sister and a brother, who are both married, giving her a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law as well. Her brother has two kids, Paula’s two nieces. Paula’s brother’s family arrived in town first and her sister suprised her later on.
