’90 Day’: Are Shekinah Garner & Sarper Güven Leaving ‘The Last Resort’ Season 3?
Onscreen and on social media, there has been some major tension between married couple Shekinah Garner and Sarper Güven and the rest of the 90 Day: The Last Resort cast. In Swooon‘s exclusive preview of the August 10 episode, Shekinah and Sarper reveal that they are considering leaving the castle and departing from the therapy-based show early.
This season, Shekinah has clashed with multiple members of the cast, including Rebecca Parrott and Thaís Ramone. According to the 90 Day Fiancé Season 11 star, this has led to tension at group therapy. While she felt like she could lean on Sarper, now she’s not so sure. Shekinah explains, “Going through all of these really difficult situations with group therapy, it just made me feel like it was all worth it because I really believe that my husband was on my side. But now I’m worried that Sarper isn’t understanding my concerns.”
Ahead of a candid hot tub conversation, Shekinah tells viewers, “He doesn’t seem like we’re on the same team anymore. And if my own husband doesn’t understand me, I mean, I just feel completely alone, and I feel like the whole world is against me.”
Sarper, who has been leaning into the couples’ therapy aspect of the show, tells Shekinah, “I want to continue with this. I want to take therapies, finish it.”

In response, Shekinah admits, “But if she’s there, I don’t want to go to therapy.” We don’t have context for which cast member she is referring to directly here. However, based on comments Shekinah has made about refusing to film with Thaís, we’d assume that is who she is talking about here.
While Sarper encourages Shekinah to “forget her,” Shekinah fires back, “I can’t. Every cell in my body is reminding me she’s there. Okay? So don’t tell me to pretend I’m saying if she’s at an activity and I can’t join because she’s in the she’s in the activity.” She adds, “I don’t want you to be there without me.”
“I just want to take the therapies,” Sarper tells her. “Therapies are group therapies. They are not done separately.”
“You want to go to therapy? I don’t know what to say,” Shekinah admits. “I don’t know what to do. I don’t feel heard. I don’t feel protected.” In response, Sarper urges her, “Shekinah, for the first [time] in your life, follow my lead. I am the breadwinner. I’m the leader.”
“I think I would trust you more if I felt like you hear me,” Shekinah confesses. “And if you listen to me, and if you acknowledge my feelings and what I’m trying to tell you I feel, but you don’t. I feel unsafe.”
Clearly fed up, Sarper responds, “Okay. Good. Let’s go. Okay? Let’s go back to America. Finished.”
Could this mean Shekinah and Sarper will be leaving The Last Resort early? Only time will tell!
