Taylor Lewan is a former American football offensive tackle who played nine seasons in the NFL, all with the Tennessee Titans. Born on July 22, 1991, in Loomis, California, he grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona, and attended Chaparral High School. He played college football at the University of Michigan from 2009 to 2013, where he was a two-time First-Team All-American and twice named Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year.
Lewan was selected 11th overall in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Titans. He quickly became a cornerstone of their offensive line, earning Pro Bowl selections in 2016, 2017, and 2018. In 2018, he signed a five-year, $80 million contract extension, making him the highest-paid offensive lineman in NFL history at that time.
