Steven Scott Harwell brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Harwell began his music career with features in comedies like "Dear God" (1996) with Greg Kinnear and Laurie Metcalf. "An American Werewolf in Paris" (1997) and "Can't Hardly Wait" (1998). He also appeared in "Orgazmo" (1998) with Trey Parker and Dian Bachar and "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo" (1999) with Rob Schneider. An actor as well as a musician, Harwell took on a part in "The Drew Carey Show" (ABC, 1995-2004). In the early 2000s, Harwell's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "Snow Day" (2000), "Big Fat Liar" (2002) and "The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement" (2004). Harwell's music was also featured in the romantic comedy "A Lot Like Love" (2005) with Ashton Kutcher, the thriller "Cursed" (2005) with Josh Jackson and the Vin Diesel hit comedic action flick "The Pacifier" (2005). His music was also featured in the comedy adventure "Zoom" (2006) with Tim Allen and the romantic comedy "Made of Honor" (2008) with Patrick Dempsey. Harwell's music was most recently featured in the family adventure "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" (2010) with Zachary Gordon. Steven Scott Harwell died on September 4, 2023 in ID at the age of 56.
