Robert MacNeil worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. He also contributed to "Rubinstein at 90" (PBS, 1976-77), "The NewsHour With Jim Lehrer" and "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" (PBS, 1980-81).
In the nineties and the early 2000s, MacNeil devoted his time to various credits, such as "Dangerous Assignments" (PBS, 1990-91), "Fifteen Years of MacNeil/Lehrer" (PBS, 1990-91) and "Nova" (PBS, 1990-2013). He also worked on "Series 7" (2001). In the early 2000s, MacNeil lent his talents to projects like "Jihad: The Men and Ideas Behind Al-Qaeda" (PBS, 2006-07), "Mr. Conservative: Goldwater on Goldwater" (HBO, 2006-07) and "The Case for War: In Defense of Freedom" (PBS, 2006-07). His credits also expanded to "Warriors" (PBS, 2006-07). MacNeil most recently appeared on the documentary "One PM Central Standard Time" (2013) with George Clooney.
