Rae Allen was a prolific actress who created a name for herself largely on the big screen. Allen started her entertainment career by acting in comedies like "The Tiger Makes Out" (1967) with Eli Wallach and "Taking Off" (1971) with Lynn Carlin. She appeared in a number of television specials, including "Marlo Thomas in Acts of Love -- and Other Comedies" (1972-73), "Keeping an Eye on Denise" (CBS, 1972-73) and "Ace" (ABC, 1975-76). She continued to act in productions like the Tom Hanks smash hit comedic sports movie "A League of Their Own" (1992), the Jason Priestley drama "Calendar Girl" (1993) and the dramatic comedy "Angie" (1994) with Geena Davis. She also appeared in "Stargate" (1994). Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in the drama "Reign Over Me" (2007) with Don Cheadle. Allen most recently appeared on "Tab Hunter Confidential" (2015) with Tab Hunter. Rae Allen died on April 6, 2022 at the age of 95.
