Michael Thorn

Michael Thorn is a television executive and producer known for his influential role in shaping scripted programming at major broadcast networks. He is best known for serving as President of Entertainment at FOX, a position he held from 2017 until 2023. In that role, he oversaw development and programming for the network’s scripted slate, including shows like "9-1-1", "The Resident", "The Cleaning Lady", "Prodigal Son", and "Call Me Kat". He was also involved in shepherding long-running hits like "The Simpsons", "Family Guy", and "Bob’s Burgers."

Before his time at FOX, Thorn was Executive Vice President of Development at 20th Century Fox Television, where he helped develop critically acclaimed series such as "This Is Us", "Empire", and "Glee".
