Marisa Coughlan

Marisa Coughlan is an American actress, writer, and producer known for her roles in both film and television, particularly during the late 1990s and early 2000s. She gained recognition for her comedic timing and likable screen presence, with one of her most memorable performances being in the cult comedy "Super Troopers" (2001), where she played Officer Ursula Hanson.

Coughlan was born on March 17, 1974, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She studied at the University of Southern California, where she earned a degree in French before turning to acting. Her early career included appearances in teen-oriented films and shows like "Teaching Mrs. Tingle" (1999), opposite Katie Holmes, and the short-lived WB series "Wasteland" (1999).

In addition to "Super Troopers," she appeared in "Freddy Got Fingered" (2001), a controversial comedy directed by Tom Green, and had guest roles in TV shows like "Boston Legal," where she played the recurring character Melissa Hughes.

Later in her career, Coughlan shifted more into writing and producing.
