Marc Coppola started off his acting career mostly in film roles, appearing in "Apocalypse Now" (1979), "The Cotton Club" (1984) and the Sylvia Kristel horror movie "Dracula's Widow" (1988). He also appeared in "Vampire's Kiss" (1989). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "Law & Order" (NBC, 1990-2010). He kept working in film throughout the nineties, starring in "Deadfall" (1993) with Michael Biehn, the Elijah Wood comedic adventure "North" (1994) and the Nicolas Cage dramatic adaptation "Leaving Las Vegas" (1995). He also appeared in the fantastical comedy "Jack" (1996) with Robin Williams. More recently, he tackled roles in "Bel Air" (2000), the dramatic adaptation "Adaptation" (2002) with Nicolas Cage and "Sonny" (2002) with James Franco. Additionally, he appeared on the television special "Nicolas Cage: Wild at Heart" (1998-99). Most recently, Coppola acted in the drama "The Bling Ring" (2013) with Emma Watson. Coppola was cousin to Sofia Coppola.
