Lux Pascal is a Chilean‑American actress and transgender activist. She is the youngest of four children, all born to Chilean parents who fled Pinochet’s dictatorship. Her older brother is actor Pedro Pascal.
Her early acting career included roles in Chilean TV series such as"Los 80," "Juana Brava" and “Veinteañero a los 40”, plus her 2016 film debut in "Prueba de actitud." Internationally, she appeared alongside her brother in "Narcos" Season 3, and later in projects like "La Jauría" (2019), "La California" (2022), and "The Prince." She was also cast in the thriller “Summer War”, an adaptation of Roberto Bolaño’s "The Third Reich."
Lux publicly came out as a transgender woman in February 2021, following earlier identification as gay and nonbinary. She revealed her transition in a cover story for Ya magazine and chose to adopt her maternal surname, Pascal.
