With his boy-next-door charisma and versatile talent, there was little doubt Logan Henderson was destined to make millions of tween girls swoon. A relative newcomer to the entertainment industry, Henderson quickly shot to teen superstardom after landing a role on Nickelodeon's musical comedy series "Big Time Rush" (2009-13). The hit show followed four hockey-playing best friends from Minnesota who move to Los Angeles and trade in their hockey gear for a shot at becoming pop superstars. Henderson proved he was a young ladies' man as a member of "Big Time Rush," but it was through hard work, innate talent, and passion for his craft that established him as one of the most promising up-and-comers of his generation.

He was born Logan Phillip Henderson on Sept. 14, 1989 in Dallas, TX. The future teen idol grew up playing various outdoor sports, including wakeboarding, snowboarding and skateboarding. Unlike most of his peers who began acting at an early age, Henderson did not catch the performing bug until he was 16. He landed a minor role as a young bully on the critically acclaimed drama series "Friday Night Lights" (NBC, 2006-11), about a Texas high school football team and their coach (Kyle Chandler). After that experience, Henderson immediately fell in love with being in front of the camera and began making frequent trips between Texas and Los Angeles for auditions. Henderson's hard work finally paid off in 2009 after he was chosen to star on Nickelodeon's live-action series "Big Time Rush."

Henderson was cast on "Big Time Rush" as Logan Mitchell, a Minnesota teen who ends up moving to L.A. with his three best friends (Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos Pena) and forming the pop group Big Time Rush. However, the boys discover that their road to stardom is filled with plenty of wacky misadventures, girl troubles, and internal conflicts. Henderson's character was the group's flirtiest member, but he was also the voice of reason when it came to making critical decisions. The show's debut episode drew a record-breaking 7.1 million viewers, which made it the network's highest rated premiere in history. "Big Time Rush" also featured guest appearances from other celebrities, including rapper Snoop Dogg and Pussycat Dolls vocalist Nicole Scherzinger. The series received mixed reviews initially, with some critics describing it as a poor attempt at recreating Disney's success with the Jonas Brothers. However, the boy-next-door charm of the cast as well as original songs featured made "Big Time Rush" a hit with tween viewers. The show's success landed Henderson and his co-stars on high-profile events such as "The 2010 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" (NBC) and in the made-for-television film "Big Time Christmas" (2010).
