Jonathan Penner

Jonathan Penner is an American screenwriter, actor, and reality television personality best known for his multiple appearances on the CBS reality series "Survivor." He first competed on "Survivor: Cook Islands" (Season 13) in 2006, then returned for "Survivor: Micronesia – Fans vs. Favorites" (Season 16) in 2008, and again for "Survivor: Philippines" (Season 25) in 2012. He's remembered for his strategic gameplay, sharp wit, and distinctive narration style during confessionals.

Outside of Survivor, Penner has worked in film and television. He co-wrote and produced the horror film "The Bye Bye Man" (2017) and has writing credits on several other projects. Earlier in his career, he appeared as an actor in films like "Let the Devil Wear Black" and "Down Periscope," and TV shows like "Seinfeld" and "CSI."

Penner was married to Stacy Title, an Academy Award-nominated filmmaker. The couple frequently collaborated professionally. Title passed away in 2021 after battling ALS, and Penner has since been open about the experience, becoming a public advocate for ALS awareness.
