Actor John Gabriel appeared in a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Gabriel's earliest roles were in film, including "The Secret People" (1952) with Valentina Cortese, the Marlon Brando dramatic adaptation "The Young Lions" (1958) and the adaptation "South Pacific" (1958) with Rossano Brazzi. He also appeared in the Robert Mitchum suspenseful adaptation "The Hunters" (1958), "The Story of Ruth" (1960) and "The Curse of the Werewolf" (1961) with Clifford Evans. He continued to work steadily in film throughout the sixties and the eighties, appearing in "Stagecoach" (1966), "Sex and the College Girl" (1970) and "Doomsday Voyage" (1972). He also appeared in the Jill Clayburgh comedy "It's My Turn" (1980). Gabriel was nominated for an Outstanding Actor In a Daytime Drama Series Daytime Emmy Award for "Ryan's Hope" in 1979. Most recently, Gabriel acted on "Rosewood" (Fox, 2015-17).
