Jane Bright

Jane Bright was a memorable contestant on "Survivor: Nicaragua," the 21st season of the CBS reality series that aired in 2010. At 56 years old, she joined the game as a dog trainer from Jackson Springs, North Carolina, and quickly became a fan favorite for her resilience, authenticity, and determination.

She was known for her ability to make fire using reading glasses and her strong performances in challenges, winning two individual immunity challenges. Her strategic gameplay and likable personality made her a significant threat, leading to her elimination on Day 36 as the seventh juror. Despite not winning the title of Sole Survivor, she was awarded the $100,000 Fan Favorite prize at the reunion show.
