David Ruprecht had an early acting career in film, appearing in such titles as "The Incredible Shrinking Woman" (1981) featuring Lily Tomlin, the action picture "Star Trek II: the Wrath of Khan" (1982) with William Shatner and the sports drama "A Minor Miracle" (1983) with John Huston. He also appeared in the TV movie "The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island" (NBC, 1980-81). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Married... With Children" (Fox, 1986-1997) and "Full House" (ABC, 1987-1995). He continued to work steadily in television throughout the eighties and the nineties, appearing on "Doogie Howser, M.D." (1989-1993), "Beverly Hills 90210" (Fox, 1990-2000) and "The Drew Carey Show" (ABC, 1995-2004). He also appeared in the TV special "Days of Our Lives: One Stormy Night" (NBC, 1991-92). Additionally, he later acted in "Taking Care of Business" (1990). In his more recent career, he tackled roles on "Family Law" (1999-2002), "Cold Case" (CBS, 2003-2010) and "Joan of Arcadia" (CBS, 2003-05). He also had a part in the TV miniseries "The 70s" (1999-2000). Ruprecht most recently acted on "True Blood" (HBO, 2008-2014).
