She may have started acting at the age of three, but Brittany Tiplady carried herself maturely enough to play Lance Henriksen's daughter Jordan Black in the spooky 1996 Fox sci-fi series "Millennium" when she was barely six. Born in Richmond, British Columbia, Tiplady made her acting debut in the 1994 made-for-television drama "Sin & Redemption" in a cast that included Richard Grieco, Cynthia Gibb, and Concetta Tomei. But it was her portrayal of Black that won the Canadian child actor a number of Young Artist Award nominations and one Supporting Young Actress win in 1998. Tiplady's main sources of employment were made-for-television movie gigs that included sports dramedies ("The Sports Pages"), docudramas ("Door to Door"), and comedies ("Just a Phase"). And while she landed only two motion picture appearances during the 2000s, Tiplady got to share screen time with Jack Nicholson in the 2001 Sean Penn-directed mystery, "The Pledge," and with "SNL" funnyman Andy Samberg in his 2007 full-length movie debut, "Hot Rod."<
