Alex Ovechkin

Alex Ovechkin is a professional ice hockey player from Russia, widely regarded as one of the greatest goal scorers in NHL history. Born on September 17, 1985, in Moscow, he was selected first overall in the 2004 NHL Draft by the Washington Capitals, the team he has played for his entire career. Known for his powerful shot, physical play, and charismatic presence on and off the ice, Ovechkin has won multiple Rocket Richard Trophies as the league's top goal scorer and earned the Hart Trophy as NHL MVP several times.
