What was A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 1 about?
Five years after popular Andie Bell (India Lillie Davies) was murdered by her boyfriend, Salil Singh (Rahul Pattni), who then supposedly took his own life. Known Sal as a kind boy who helped her when she was bullied, Pip decided to investigate the “closed” case for her senior capstone project, convinced of the teen’s innocence. She teams with Sal’s brother Ravi (Zain Iqbal), and the duo uncovers a web of sordid secrets in their small town of Little Kilton.
How did A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 1 end?
Warning: Spoilers ahead for Season 1 of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. Pip uncovers that Andie was killed by her sister, Becca, after a confrontation about Andie selling date rape drugs that were used to assault Becca. During the fight, Becca pushes Andie, causing the already injured girl to fall and choke on her own vomit. Becca then leaves her to die and hides the body in a septic tank.
Pip is also nearly killed by Becca after being drugged, but Ravi and Cara save her using a tracking app.
Pip also discovers that her teacher, Elliot Ward, killed Sal Singh and framed him for Andie’s death to cover up his affair with her. Mr. Ward believes he killed Andie during a fight and pins it on Sal to protect his own reputation.
Both Becca and Mr. Ward are arrested for their roles in the deaths of Andie Bell and Sal Singh.
The season ends with Pip completing her project, earning school credit, and kissing Ravi.
What will A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 2 be about?
Based on Holly Jackson’s novel Good Girl, Bad Blood, Netflix’s official description of the second season states: “After solving the Andie Bell case, Pip is determined to fix the fallout – and stay away from any more investigations. But as Max Hastings’ (Henry Ashton) trial approaches, Connor’s (Jude Morgan-Collie) brother Jamie (Eden H. Davies) suddenly disappears, and Pip finds herself in a race against time to find him.”
Who will star in A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 2?
Emma Myers will be back as Pip, alongside Zain Iqbal as Ravi Singh, Asha Banks as Cara, Yali Topol Margalith as Lauren, and Jude Morgan-Collie as Connor. In Season 2, they’ll be joined by new co-stars Misia Butler, Eden H. Davies, and Jack Rowan.
