Whatever Happened to Danielle Brisebois, Stephanie Mills From ‘Archie Bunker’s Place’?

Way back in the ’70s, TV viewers tuning in to CBS on Sunday nights were almost certainly watching Carroll O’Connor sitting in his worn armchair as Archie Bunker shared his outdated opinions and frustrated family and friends along the way. All in the Family is where most folks first came to know Danielle Brisebois, who played Stephanie Mills.

Archie and Edith took Stephanie in after her father abandoned her during the final season of the show. Brisebois was about nine years old when she joined the cast, and her character became even more prominent in the spinoff Archie Bunker’s Place, where she earned a Golden Globe nomination for her work.
