Remembering 55 Years of Monster Cereals, From Count Chocula to Fruity Yummy Mummy

Remember when a box of Count Chocula or Franken Berry cereal came with a little prize inside? General Mills offered all sorts of fun surprises with its Monster Cereals in the 1970s, including paint sets, stickers, toys, and even records you could play on a turntable.

Of course, the cereals themselves were a big part of growing up for generations of kids. Count Chocula, Franken Berry, and Boo Berry appeared in their own animated commercials, arguing over whose cereal tasted better and getting scared by just about everything.
