Angela Trimble — more widely known as Blondie lead singer Debbie Harry — was a pioneer in the American new wave scene, blending pop, disco, and punk influences beginning in the mid-1970s to the early 1980s (and beyond!).

Though the “Heart of Glass” rock group broke up and went their separate ways in 1982, they have been active ever since their reunion in 1997, and Harry, along with former longtime boyfriend/guitarist Chris Stein and Sex Pistols bassist Glen Matlock, is currently working on a new Blondie album, High Noon, to be released in the spring of 2026.
