‘B&B’s Don Diamont Says Wife Cindy Should’ve Been ‘Y&R’s Ashley: She Was ‘Spot On’

Nothing makes a relationship more special than one of the people in it having a special name for the other person. Case in point: The soap opera world knows actor Don Diamont, who plays Bill Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful as Don, but his wife, Cindy Ambuehl, affectionately refers to him as “Donald.”

While the couple’s relationship is indeed special, unique, and loving, there are actually many people who call Diamont by the name “Donald.” Ambuehl told Swooon on the Daytime Emmys red carpet, “[Donald] was raised as ‘Donald.’ His family, his closest friends, all call him ‘Donald.’”
