In the wake of The Golden Bachelorette fans mourning the departure of Mark Anderson, the contestant is now speaking out about his adventure on the show. “I am thankful… I am hopeful… I feel blessed,” he began his Instagram post.

After getting his first one-on-one date with lead Joan Vassos in the October 16 episode, it was clear that the two weren’t compatible. Joan brought up that she needed someone who was as far in their “healing journey” as she was, implying that Mark wasn’t there yet.
