‘Bridgerton’: Everything We Know About Season 6 So Far
Bridgerton‘s fifth season may not arrive on Netflix until 2027, but Shondaland’s hit series based on Julia Quinn’s books is already gearing up for the next chapter, with Season 6 seemingly taking shape.
While it is definitely a little too early to know any details about Bridgerton Season 6, there are a few things that we do know and new tidbits that have surfaced amid Season 5’s production. Below, we’re breaking down the things we do know as well as the things we can speculate on based on Quinn’s books. But stay tuned for more official details as they’re revealed in the years and months ahead.
Who will be the leads of Bridgerton Season 6?
No casting for Season 6 has been officially announced, but despite initial speculation following Season 4 that Season 6 would follow the order of Quinn’s books, it will not be Francesca (Hannah Dodd) leading the season alongside Michaela (Masali Baduza) as they step up to lead Season 5. Instead, we’re likely to see Eloise’s (Claudia Jessie) love story come to life, but no official indication has been made. When it is Eloise’s turn to step into the spotlight, she’s expected to do so alongside Sir Phillip Crane (Chris Fulton). After all, showrunner Jess Brownell teased as much to Swooon when she said, “She’s ending up with the love interest from her book.”
