During the most recent episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 8, viewers have learned more about Michelle, a 40-year-old single mother who’s moving to Ghana to be with her boyfriend, Felix. However, her daughter, Kiera, and her mom, Shelly, are not too keen on her beau for a very serious reason: The last time she was in Ghana, Felix and his dad completely robbed her apartment.

Michelle was 20 years old when she had her daughter, Kiera, whom she raised on her own. Michelle explained, “When I first had Kiera, I was a single mom. Maybe because I come from the bottom, I wanted Kiera to have everything I didn’t have. So she played the violin, she did cheer, she did gymnastics.”

According to Michelle, Kiera, who is pregnant, lives with “her Navy husband in California.” She also revealed that Kiera graduated from esthetician school, and based on her social media, Kiera runs GlamByKiki in Lemoore, California.
Who is Michelle’s mom?
We don’t know too much about Michelle’s mom, Shelly, yet — except for her opinion on her daughter’s relationship with Felix. Shelly told Michelle, “We want to support you, but we just wanna tell you our opinion because we don’t want you to make a mistake.”
In the preview for Episode 6, Shelly drops Michelle off at the airport, telling viewers, “It breaks my heart that she’s gone across the world for this guy, and he’s done nothing for her.”

Who is Felix’s dad?
Another key player in Michelle’s family is her future father-in-law, a preacher, who she claims has been encouraging Felix to do bad things. She explained, “The dad has been the one brainwashing him, putting him up to everything. He made him rob the house. He told Felix I’m not allowed to have friends. His dad asked about me and Felix’s sex life. His dad is like his bodyguard.”
