According to TLC, Michelle is “a single mom and self-described hustler who flips cars for a living.” She’s from Dallas, Texas, but now, she’s traveling to Ghana in West Africa for love. TLC teases, “Although Michelle believes Felix is the love of her life, troubling questions continue to cast a shadow over their relationship. As concerns grow about whether she can fully trust Felix and his family’s intentions, Michelle leaves Dallas behind and moves to Ghana determined to prove their love is worth the risk.”
What is Michelle’s job?
Michelle has revealed that she flips cars with her friend Henry. During a preview for the upcoming episode, Michelle revealed that she loves attending car auctions. She also confessed that she has always been a hustler. She shared, “I had a rough childhood. We didn’t come from a lot of money, so I worked really hard to get to where I am today. When I was 17, I got a mobile home, [and] paid [it] off working at Denny’s. I got my own little $500 car.”
Who is Michelle’s daughter?
We don’t know too much about Michelle just yet, but she revealed during a preview that she is a single mom. “I had my daughter Kira at 20 years old,” she shared. “I was left to raise her on my own.”

How did Michelle and Felix meet?
A year and a half ago, Michelle flew to Africa for a vacation with Henry and met Felix during a layover at the airport in Ghana, where he was bartending. According to Michelle, she had just gotten out of a bad relationship. Even though she was only visiting for two weeks, Michelle decided to stay in Ghana for nine months with Felix.
