We’re back, and this time we’re in the city Renee Rapp can’t stand! Yep, it’s time to blast “I Hate Boston” and binge Season 11 of Love Is Blind. Are all Boston men as bad as Rapp’s ex? We’re about to find out as 30 Boston singles enter the pods in search of love.
Once again, we’ve got celebrity comparisons, NSFW flirting through the screen, broken engagements, and plenty more drama. But one Boston single is serving up some of the worst dad jokes in Love Is Blind history. He may be a sweetheart, but this man seriously needs to upgrade his pickup lines.
We’re obviously talking about Cameron Halloran, the 29-year-old Scorpio hoping to find the punchline to his jokes, aka the woman of his dreams. Here’s everything you need to know about Cam and his journey in the Netflix series. (Warning: Spoilers for Love Is Blind Season 11 Episodes 1-5 ahead!)
Who is Cameron Halloran?
Cam is an HR generalist who might want to watch those jokes unless he wants to get written up! Yep, he’s a classic dad-joke kind of guy. Throughout his time in the pods, we see women either charmed by his cheesy openers or groaning their way straight out of the conversation. His humor is definitely an acquired taste.
Cam is also quite the traveler. After college, he moved to Ghana and never quite shook the travel bug. Early on, he makes it clear that he wants a partner who shares his love of exploring the world. So, if you’re not a fan of packing a suitcase and hopping on a plane, you might not be his type.

While stepping outside his comfort zone comes naturally to Cam, settling down is another story. It’s something he’s been afraid to do, but he’s inspired by his grandparents, who have been together for more than 70 years. He’s also keen to start a family and have children in his early 30s, so he’s hoping to find someone ready to build a future together.
Who does Cam match with in the Love Is Blind pods?
As mentioned, Cam leads with the bad jokes, and the results are very hit or miss. With Aneha Singh, though, it’s an instant hit! She fires back with her own corny jokes, and the two end up laughing together. Cam describes Aneha as “bubbly” and loves her energy. They also discuss spirituality and how they’d raise their future children. While Cam prioritizes raising a “good person,” Aneha shares that she was brought up Hindu.
Cam also reveals that his favorite book is the Gita, which he even brings into the pods. One particularly hilarious moment comes when the pair have a silent disco, but Cam is the only one dancing in his pod. We can’t wait for him to watch that scene back!
But Aneha isn’t Cam’s only connection. He’s also getting close to Malaine Thorpe, who happens to be good friends with Aneha in the Women’s Quarters. Malaine was diagnosed with breast cancer at 24, just like Cam’s mom, giving the pair a deeply personal connection. Cam describes his dilemma as choosing between the “red pill and blue pill” from The Matrix. To make things even messier, Malaine is also dating Cam’s pod bestie, Wilson Montiero. Talk about a tangled love triangle!
When Malaine tells Cam she’s choosing him over Wilson, he decides to be honest and admits that he believes Aneha is a better fit for him. Heartbroken, Malaine decides to leave the experiment, but not before wishing Aneha well. It’s an emotional end to their connection, even if Cam’s decision ultimately brings some clarity to the love triangle.
Does Cam get engaged in Love Is Blind Season 11?
Now that Aneha and Cam are the only two left in the running, it’s time for an engagement! Luckily, Cam soon pops the question and manages to keep the dad jokes to himself for this big moment. And, of course, Aneha says yes!
Before they meet face-to-face, Aneha admits to viewers and producers that looks do matter to her. Thankfully, the pair seems happy when they finally see each other, although Aneha confesses that Cam isn’t her usual type. In fact, she reckons he could use a “f*ckboy haircut.” Ouch!
In Mexico, their connection became more natural, and Aneha confessed, “I think I was overwhelmed after I saw you.”
So far, things are looking good on their trip together, but the season preview hints that trouble could be brewing. One major sticking point appears to be children, with Aneha admitting she’s unsure whether she wants them.
And we have a feeling Cam’s connection with Malaine isn’t quite finished either. Surely the two will cross paths again at the group mixer? With this much potential drama ahead, Cam and Aneha’s journey to the altar might not be as smooth as their pod romance.
