Chad Lowe is dealing with an unthinkable loss after the death of his 13-year-old daughter, Fiona. The actor announced his teen daughter’s death on September 29.
“We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona,” the Lowe family said in a statement to People. “She was a loving young girl who was smart, creative, and loved to dance. She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives.”

Who is Chad Lowe’s wife?
Chad’s wife is Kim Painter. Her current job title, per LinkedIn, is “mom,” but she previously worked as an executive assistant to Carrie Fisher from 2001 to 2008. She was also an assistant at Jerry Bruckheimer Films from 1997 to 2001.
Kim was an associate producer for Conversations From the Edge with Carrie Fiahser in 2002. She has also worked on Wishful Drinking as a co-producer. Kim graduated from Salisbury University in 1995.
While it’s unclear exactly how Chad and Kim met, they were first linked in January 2007 and tied the knot in August 2010, 15 months after welcoming their first child.

Chad was previously married to Hilary Swank. They tied the knot in 1997 and separated in 2006, finalizing their divorce the following year.
