All About Quarterback Arch Manning’s Parents & His Famous Family
Arch Manning is one of the most talked-about quarterbacks in college football right now after the Texas Longhorns’ historic win over the Ohio State Buckeyes on September 12. The 22-year-old and his teammates overcame a 20-point deficit in the fourth quarter to defeat the No. 1-ranked team, with a final score of 24 to 23.
“I always knew we were going to be in it at the end. We just had to get something going, and whatever it takes at the end of the game. I’m so glad we won,” Arch said in a post-game press conference. After the win, Arch’s dad shared a sweet photo of the whole family. “Hook ‘em!!!” the proud dad captioned his post.

Who are Arch Manning’s parents?
Arch’s parents are Cooper Manning and Ellen Heidingsfelder. Yes, he’s related to Peyton and Eli Manning. Cooper is Peyton and Eli’s older brother. Arch’s grandfather, whom he’s named after, is Archie Manning, who notably played for the New Orleans Saints for 14 seasons.

Cooper and Ellen have been married since 1999. They are both New Orleans natives.
Despite Arch’s growing popularity, he has no interest in fame. “Arch always said growing up, I can remember him being 6 or 7, ‘I want to play quarterback one day in college, but I don’t have any interest in being famous,'” Cooper told ESPN. Arch’s dad also noted his son was “particularly sensitive” as a child “to thinking anybody was looking at him as if he was getting any sort of special treatment. No one likes the boss’ son that’s doing nothing and getting credit.”
What do Arch Manning’s parents do for a living?
Cooper was set to follow in his father’s football footsteps, having committed to play football at the University of Mississippi. However, a spinal stenosis diagnosis ended his football career for good.
Today, Cooper is a principal and senior managing director at AJ Capital Partners, a real estate development and investment firm. He is also the host of The Manning Hour on FOX Sports and cohosts the golf podcast, We Need a Fourth, with Kenny Mayne and Brian Baumgartner. When Peyton hosted the College Bowl revival, Capital One College Bowl, Cooper served as his sidekick.
Arch’s mom, Ellen, is an attorney based out of New Orleans. She earned her law degree from Loyola University New Orleans.
Does Arch Manning have siblings?
Arch has two siblings: May and Heid. Arch’s older sister, May, was born in 2002. She attended the University of Virginia and currently works in New York City at Excel Sports Management.
His younger brother, Heid, was born in 2006. He is currently a student alongside his brother at the University of Texas at Austin.
“Obviously, my family’s always been there for me. It’s nice having my brother. He goes to UT with me. So, kind of a comedic relief there for me was always good,” Arch said at the Manning Passing Academy earlier this year.
