According to his LinkedIn, he is currently the CEO of Haemanthus, a biotechnology research company in Texas.
In the trailer, Evans tells Fielder, “I fell in love in that first conversation,” adding that it was probably before she revealed that she was the founder of Theranos that he caught feelings. While it crossed his mind that she could be scamming him, he asked, “What did she have to gain from me?” After getting a question about his family’s fortune, Evans claimed, “I think that there are a lot of different levels of wealth.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, neither Evans nor Holmes has seen the documentary, despite being heavily involved in its development. While Holmes is incarcerated, Fielder revealed a strained relationship with Evans. He shared that Evans “started trying to exert a level of control over the process that made it very hard to engage with him, and it was uncomfortable for us and also A24 and everyone. And I think we sort of had to stop — I think communication broke down basically, and we’ve been in that like state for a little bit. So it’s been challenging in that way.”
