While Harry Jowsey has spent the past year talking about being ready for a real marriage, his now-ex-wife, Amber Mozo, claims she was “silenced.” Now, she’s owning her narrative.
When Amber, the winner of Let’s Marry Harry, sat down with Swooon, she got straight to the point, explaining that she had reached out to Harry to chat one-on-one before their fiery onstage conversation, but he declined. After having no contact since their February breakup, when he blocked her on the day they were supposed to move in together, Amber explained that she went into the reunion looking for closure, knowing “that was the last time I was looking him in the eyes, and I wanted to say the things I wanted to say with no regrets.”
Looking back at their short-lived marriage, Amber explained that she tried to give Harry plenty of space to continue his influencer work. “I think when you get married, you need to consider someone,” she explained. “I was going through a lot getting to know him and trying to shift to his lifestyle and his needs of him wanting to also be a public figure, but then him committing to a private relationship. He really dismissed my feelings on a lot of situations and how that would feel for me. It was really hard to balance, but it wasn’t impossible.”
According to Amber, Harry’s biggest pushback was that they couldn’t date because the paparazzi would spot them. Her response to that was, “We’re not the Kardashians. What are you talking about?” While they were spotted once, she explained, “He wanted to be out. He wanted to film with his friends, and he wanted to get back to work. So I tried to be understanding of that, but then there were times where I was like, ‘Okay, this isn’t okay for me,’ and there was no one there to hear me out. It became a toxic environment for me personally and for a relationship.”
She continued, “I think that if you are going to take the responsibility to date and marry someone, you should consider their feelings and not always blame it on work, when you do have control over your work. You didn’t have to put me in certain situations. That was when we started arguing in Australia, and I think that’s the missing link for a lot of people here in the audience that don’t understand that.”
As soon as Amber started feeling “unseen and dismissed,” she felt like her peace had been taken. She explained, “That’s when you know you’re not in a healthy relationship.”

That said, Amber continued to try to make things work. At the time, she told him she would give him space, but he told everyone that they had broken up. “I told him, ‘This is a unique experience. I’m not expecting it to be easy, but if you’re feeling overwhelmed, take a breath. You’ve been filming, you’ve been in Australia for a month. Go home. Regroup.'”
After that, they decided to move into a new house together, with a February 1 move-in date. “I was really encouraging of not suffocating him,” she told Swooon. “But I think he kind of weaponized that and told everyone we broke up when we certainly didn’t. There are text messages of us still planning on moving into a house.” Looking back at the reunion, Amber explained, “That getting twisted out of context was super unfortunate to hear at the reunion because I was curious why we broke up.”
Defending her reaction to seeing Harry at the reunion, she told Swooon, “I was getting closure on that stage. I haven’t spoken to him since February 1. He blocked me. He got a new girlfriend. He never gave me closure. He didn’t want to have a private conversation before the reunion, so I knew that was the only chance [for me to say] the things I wanted to say into his eyes and settle the score there.”
Of course, according to Amber, Harry said a lot more at the reunion than viewers saw. “The way the reunion looks is that Harry didn’t get a word in, but anytime I made a point, he would dismiss it, or laugh, or lie about it,” Amber revealed. “It looks like I’m just here trying to beat a dead horse. But he luckily got certain things that he said taken out. He was laughing at some of the girls, pointing at them, saying, ‘You’ve only been here for two minutes. You’re going to get edited out of this. No one cares what you say.’ He wasn’t this kind man taking it all in like what you guys saw.”
That said, Harry wasn’t the only person Amber argued with on stage. “I would never be in a toxic relationship willingly. I’m just not that type of girl, and that’s why me and Dannelle [Davidson] really don’t see eye to eye on some things, because with all the information given, I wouldn’t ever go back to a guy who lied on me and then try to brush things under the rug.”
She explained, “I think that’s why I came in hot on her, too. I was like, ‘We’re not going to sit up on this stage and lie.’ I was called to come to this reunion… When you’re silenced and used, and your story is narrated falsely, and you feel exploited in a way, you’re gonna get on that stage and defend yourself. I don’t think anyone could really understand how it feels to have your story overlooked and everyone root for someone that did something behind your back and never had intentions of telling you.”
