During Season 1 of Let’s Marry Harry, the Netflix heartthrob got engaged to 20 women, hoping to find a lasting connection with someone he could call his wife by the finale. On his wedding day, he chose to say “I do” to Hawaiian travel photographer Amber Mozo over his second-strongest connection, Las Vegas cocktail waitress Dannelle Davidson. While their marriage license was never officially submitted, these two really did tie the knot. However, that wasn’t the biggest drama of the season by far.
With just five fiancées left in the house, Harry and Amber slept together and decided not to tell the rest of the cast, even though members overheard their intimate shower moment. This specifically struck a nerve with Sam Kruse, who later left the series after (correctly) assuming that Harry was lying to her about the situation. According to the stars, Amber was not the only one who slept with Harry off-camera.

Emma slammed Harry
Right from the get-go, when asked if Harry was marriage material, Emma Piotrowski responded, “Absolutely f**king not.” She clarified, “I say that with the context that we all knew what we were getting into before we went into it. So, that means that every single one of us sitting here saw some potential in him… I think that, you know, he’s got his reputation. He’s been in a lot of toxic relationships… We saw a lot of him falling into those same habits, but at the same time we saw a lot of growth. I wouldn’t have stayed until the final five unless I saw something in him that I want to see in my future husband.”
Shaine claimed Harry treated the house like a ‘brothel’
Did anyone else gasp? Shaine Hinson, who has been very vocal online about her experience on the show, told host Haley Baylee, “Living in it and watching it back, [Harry] treated the house like it was a brothel, I think. I think he wanted a TV show where he could live in a mansion with 20 women, and I think that’s every lust-driven man’s dream. I think that he definitely wasn’t ready for marriage.”
She even went as far as to say, “He had girls queued like he was Santa Claus or something. Like, ‘Okay, your turn. Who’s next?'”

The cast was ‘scared’ of Juliana
According to Haley Baylee, Juliana Melchor “declined her invitation” to come to the reunion. Of course, we knew this before the reunion aired, but still, they milked this one for all it was worth. Members of the cast, notably Sammy Gotay and Elli Schryver, took a moment to rehash their drama with Juliana from the season.
Elli claimed that Juliana cursed women out, slammed doors, and had more blow-ups with Harry off-camera. “I was scared a little bit,” she explained. “I was surprised production kept her on set.”
Abby slept with Harry off-camera
The entire cast was rocked when Harry and Amber slept together. Turns out, he slept with final five contestant Abby Easterling before that, but it didn’t make the final edit. Instead, Juliana spilled the beans on social media. “I can only speak for myself; I wanted a little bit of closet time,” Abby told the cast. “The issue about that was, I’m pissed that Juliana went to social media hinting that there were multiple girls that he slept with that night. I was the one who told her at my house in Louisiana, friend to friend, this is what happened with me and Harry that night.”

Sam felt vindicated
Sam called out Harry for lying to her about sleeping with Amber. She found out with the rest of the world that she was right. “Honestly, I was f**king pissed if I’m being completely 100 here. I think I was sitting there staring at my TV, screaming, laughing… I was right.” As she put it, “He had so many opportunities to say his truth but chose not to.” While he “framed it” like he was protecting Amber’s privacy, Sam argued, “Amber didn’t give a s**t.”
Sam explained, “He sat there, and he lied through his teeth… Would my husband do that? Hell no.” According to the third-place finalist, she “gaslit” herself for months about her trust issues. “Just to watch it all play back, it was really reaffirming.”
Dannelle called Amber ‘the safe option’
According to Dannelle, she was convinced that she was going to marry Harry. “He told me everything I wanted to hear. He told me he loved me,” she confessed. Later, she explained that she believed Harry would have married her if he were looking for a lasting connection.
“At the end of the day, Harry knew how serious I was, how committed I was to him,” she revealed. “I was ready to walk down the aisle. And I think he wasn’t so ready, and I think we saw that maybe Amber wasn’t so ready either, and so I think she might have just been the safer option.”
Harry tried to get back together with Dannelle
Harry and Amber weren’t the first to spill their relationship status. That was Dannelle, who claimed that Harry texted her in January 2025 to let her know that he broke up with Amber and wanted to reconnect. He even invited her to LA, where she visited him for two nights. “We kind of just picked back up where we left off,” she admitted.
During that time, they were “physical” and said, “I love you again.” As she put it, “We didn’t skip a beat.” But by the time he drove her to the airport, he seemed to be done. “I basically left heartbroken again,” she revealed.
Amber called Dannelle a ‘homewrecker’
According to Amber, Harry claimed that he was single before they had fully called off their relationship. During that time, he reunited with Dannelle, and they slept together. In Amber’s opinion, Dannelle should have checked with Amber before spending time with Harry. This sparked a major screaming match between Dannelle and Amber onstage.
