Park is Sterling Point‘s director, co-showrunner, and executive producer. Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage also executive produce for Fake Empire, as do Dani Gorin and Tom Ackerley under LuckyChap.

“I am so thrilled to be partnering with LuckyChap and Amazon again after such an incredible journey making My Old Ass together,” Park said. “The trust they have in my world-building is every creator’s dream. I feel honored to be working alongside two of the best in the business, Stephanie and Josh, who are masters at their craft. Together, we’re having the best time making something we really love, and hope audiences will love too.”

What is Sterling Point about?

Described as a “heartfelt, coming-of-age drama” that covers topics like sisterhood, nature versus nurture, complicated family dynamics, and grief, Sterling Point is centered around Rubin’s Annie. She was raised in New York City with her twin brother and loving adoptive father, but her life changes when she inherits her mysterious grandfather’s island in Canada. While she uncovers family secrets there, Annie also finds new friends and romance.

“The series speaks to young audiences while tackling themes that we think will resonate with all age groups and we’re looking forward to bringing their creative vision to life for our global Prime Video customers,” said Vernon Sanders, Amazon MGM Studios’ head of television.
