Susie Wolff is a former professional racing driver from Scotland who became one of the most prominent women in motorsports in recent years. Born Susie Stoddart in 1982, she began her career in karting and moved up through the ranks of Formula Renault and DTM (the German Touring Car Championship). She gained international recognition as a development and test driver for the Williams Formula One team from 2012 to 2015, making her the first woman in over two decades to take part in a Formula One race weekend session.
After retiring from competitive driving, she became a vocal advocate for women in motorsport and took on leadership roles, including Team Principal and later CEO of the Formula E team Venturi Racing. In 2023, she was appointed Managing Director of the F1 Academy, a development series launched by Formula One to promote female drivers.
She is married to Toto Wolff, the CEO and Team Principal of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team.
