Silvana Gallardo was an American film and television actress, acting coach, and writer. Her early acting career was founded on her roles in various dramas, such as "Falcon Crest" (CBS, 1981-1990) and "Born to the Wind" (NBC, 1981-82). She had a part on the television special "The Many Loves of Arthur" (NBC, 1977-78). She also was featured in the miniseries "Centennial" (1978-79).

Gallardo launched her entertainment career by acting in films like the "Windwalker" (1980) film with Trevor Howard. She also starred in the TV movies "Silence of the Heart" (1984-85), "Copacabana" (CBS, 1985-86) and "The Children of Times Square" (ABC, 1985-86). As her entertainment career progressed, she appeared in the Cameron Dye thriller "Out of the Dark" (1989). More recently, she tackled roles on "NYPD Blue" (1993-2005), "ER" (NBC, 1994-2009) and "Providence" (NBC, 1998-2003). She also was featured in the TV movie "The Corpse Had a Familiar Face" (CBS, 1993-94). Gallardo most recently acted on "Kingpin" (NBC, 2002-03).
