Rose Ayling-Ellis

Rose Ayling-Ellis is a British actress, best known for her role as Frankie Lewis in the BBC soap opera "EastEnders" and for winning the 19th series of "Strictly Come Dancing" in 2021. Born on November 17, 1994, in Hythe, Kent, she has been deaf since birth and is a user of British Sign Language (BSL).

In 2020, she joined the cast of "EastEnders" as Frankie Lewis, becoming the first deaf actor to play a regular character on the show. Ayling-Ellis made history in 2021 by becoming the first deaf contestant on "Strictly Come Dancing."

Ayling-Ellis guest stars in the season 15 of "Doctor Who" and has the lead role in the ITV drama series "Code of Silence," where she plays a deaf catering worker who uses her lip-reading skills to assist in a police investigation
