Paul Rodgers

Paul Rodgers is a British-Canadian singer, songwriter, and musician best known for his powerful and soulful rock vocals. Born on December 17, 1949, in Middlesbrough, England, Rodgers rose to fame in the late 1960s and early 1970s as the lead singer of the blues-rock band Free. With Free, he co-wrote and performed the classic hit "All Right Now," which became one of rock's most enduring anthems. After Free disbanded, he went on to form the hard rock group Bad Company in 1973, where his signature voice helped define the band's sound on hits like "Feel Like Makin' Love," "Shooting Star," and "Can't Get Enough." His work with Bad Company cemented his reputation as one of the greatest rock vocalists of all time.

Rodgers later pursued various musical projects, including forming the short-lived supergroup The Firm with Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page in the 1980s and later joining Queen as their lead singer for a series of tours in the mid-2000s. Although he never sought to replace Freddie Mercury, his collaboration with Queen's remaining members resulted in new music and extensive live performances under the name Queen + Paul Rodgers. Beyond these high-profile bands, he has also maintained a successful solo career, releasing albums that showcase his blues, soul, and rock influences.
