Lonnie Quinn

Lonnie Quinn is an American weather anchor best known for his work as the chief weathercaster for WCBS-TV in New York City. He also appears on the "CBS Evening News" as a fill-in weather anchor. Prior to his career in meteorology, Quinn was an actor, with a notable role as Will Cooney on the soap opera "All My Children" in the 1980s.

He began his broadcasting career in Florida and eventually worked at WTVJ in Miami before moving to New York. He holds a degree from Boston College and has also completed formal meteorological training to complement his on-air role.
