Joan Steffend

Joan Steffend is a television personality, author, and former news anchor best known for her work as a host on HGTV, particularly the home makeover show "Decorating Cents."

Before her time on HGTV, she was a news reporter and anchor for KARE 11, the NBC affiliate in Minneapolis-St. Paul. Steffend is also the author of inspirational books like "And She Sparkled" and has been involved in nonprofit and motivational work, including founding the organization Peace Begins with Me.
