Ciryl Gane is a French professional mixed martial artist and a prominent figure in the world of heavyweight MMA. He is best known for competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he has established himself as one of the top heavyweights. Gane is celebrated for his impressive striking skills, technical movement, and agility—traits that are relatively rare in the heavyweight division.

Born on April 12, 1990, in La Roche-sur-Yon, France, Ciryl Gane started his combat sports career in Muay Thai before transitioning to MMA. He began his professional MMA career in 2018 and quickly rose through the ranks with a string of dominant performances. Gane joined the UFC in 2019 and remained undefeated for several years, earning victories over notable fighters such as Junior dos Santos, Jairzinho Rozenstruik, and Derrick Lewis.

In August 2021, Gane won the interim UFC Heavyweight Championship by defeating Derrick Lewis at "UFC 265." He later faced Francis Ngannou for the undisputed UFC Heavyweight title at "UFC 270" in January 2022 but lost via unanimous decision. Despite the loss, Gane continued to be recognized for his technical prowess and sportsmanship.
