Chris Samuels is a former American football offensive tackle who played professionally in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected third overall by the Washington Redskins in the 2000 NFL Draft, after a notable college career at the University of Alabama, where he was a consensus All-American. Samuels played for the Redskins for ten seasons (2000–2009), earning six Pro Bowl selections and becoming one of the team's standout players. He retired in 2010 due to injury concerns.
Chris is married to reality TV personality Monique Samuels, and he has appeared alongside her on the reality television series "The Real Housewives of Potomac" and later "Love & Marriage: DC." The couple shares three children.
