Byron Velvick, born June 24, 1964, in Downey, California, is an American professional angler, television personality, and sportscaster. Velvick contributed to ESPN2's "BassCenter" as a commentator from 2005 to 2006 and served as an on-the-water reporter and analyst for ESPN's fishing coverage.

In 2004, Velvick expanded his public profile by participating in Season 6 of the reality television show "The Bachelor." During the finale, he proposed to contestant Maribel Liliana "Mary" Delgado in Spanish, a gesture intended for her parents' understanding. The couple's relationship concluded in December 2009. ​
