Alexis Stewart is an American television host and radio personality, best known as the daughter of lifestyle mogul Martha Stewart. Born on September 27, 1965, Alexis grew up in New York and attended Barnard College at Columbia University. Although she largely stayed out of the spotlight during her early years, she eventually built her own media career, often carving out a much edgier, more irreverent public persona compared to her famously polished mother.
One of Alexis Stewart's most notable projects was the Sirius Satellite Radio show "Whatever with Alexis and Jennifer," which she co-hosted with her friend Jennifer Hutt. The show, which launched in the mid-2000s, mixed pop culture commentary with personal stories and often featured very candid, sometimes outrageous conversations—an intentional contrast to the carefully curated tone of her mother’s brand. Following the radio show's success, Alexis and Jennifer transitioned to television, hosting "Whatever, Martha!" on the Fine Living Network (later the Hallmark Channel). In this series, they humorously reviewed and mocked classic episodes of "Martha Stewart Living," offering a self-aware, tongue-in-cheek take on Martha's world of domestic perfection.
