Hilary Swank is dancing into a new pregnancy alongside her husband, Philip Schneider.
To share the happy news, the 52-year-old Oscar winner posted a video of herself and her family boogying in the dark with glow sticks taped to arms and legs. The Yellowjackets star stood out because she outlined her bump. “A lot of people have been asking what project I’m doing next, this one releases in December,” Swank captioned the October 14 video.

Who is Hilary Swank’s husband?
Schneider is a “social venture entrepreneur,” per Vogue. Swank helped him celebrate his 50th birthday in 2022, putting him around his mid-50s around the time of their pregnancy announcement.

They told Vogue that they first met over bottomless brunch in 2015. “It was a blind date set up by [Supernatural] actor Misha Collins’ wife Vicki [Vantoch] and another close friend Jean. We met at 10:00 a.m. and parted ways at 11:00 p.m.,” Swank recalled. “We clearly enjoyed our time!”
A year and a half later, they got engaged. (“We don’t know why waited that long!” Swank reflected.) Swank and Schneider’s wedding was held in August 2018. “It was timeless. There is just no other way to describe it,” the actress, who was previously married to Chad Lowe from 1997 to 2007, said at the time.
She gushed, “I was overwhelmed with such gratitude and thanks to be marrying the man of my dreams and to see all the people we love together in the middle of such a profound setting. It was truly a dream come true.”
How many children does Hilary Swank have?
Swank gave birth to fraternal twins, Aya and Ohm, in April 2023. “It’s the best in the whole wide world,” Swank said of being a new mom on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. “Yes, it’s more joy, more fun and more exhausting. It’s more everything than I ever thought it would be. It’s more glorious, it’s the most extraordinary thing in the world.”
Shortly after the twins’ birth, Swank shared a photo of herself holding them. “It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it,” she wrote in the caption of the Instagram post. “Happy Easter! Posting from pure Heaven.”
Swank shared on Good Morning America that twins run in her family as well as her husband. “It’s such a blessing,” she said in October 2022. “It’s a total miracle. It’s unbelievable.”
Swank hasn’t shared whether or not she’s having a boy or a girl. This will be Swank’s third child.
